Setup a Server (in game)

Please read the Master Server article if you are having troubles with others finding your server, or finding servers your self...

1. Start the game
2. Click on MULTIPLAYER
3. Click on START SERVER
4. Setup the server for your needs
5. Select a Co-op level/map
6. Click on Engage

You need to make sure that the ADVANCED option "Pure Server" is NOT enabled, or other players migth not be able to connect to your server!

 

Server Type: Local
  • This starts your game and server in one instance, you are hosting (server) and playing (client) at once.
  • If you are planning to start a dedicated server please refer to the article: Setup a Server (manually)
Game Type: Team Holomatch
  • This prevents the players to shoot each other.
  • You need to make sure that the ADVANCED option "Allow Friendly Fire" is NOT enabled
  • You need to make sure that the ADVANCED option "Auto Balance Teams" is NOT enabled
Holomatch Maplist
  • Select any Co-op prefixed Map/Level
Max Players
  • The more players the more resources (cpu,ram,connectivity) the server will need, the maximum player slots the co-op mod can handle is 8
Time Limit
  • The co-op mod has a inbuilt time limit of 60 minutes, to avoid servers getting stuck
  • You should set at least 40 minutes, so you will be able to finish each level
Point Limit
  • Should be 0 (disabled)
